This summer (for y'all American folks), our family has been taking a trip to New Zealand/Australia. We left the states the 1st of June, so we've been overseas for four weeks, with five left to go!

Our first stop was in New Zealand. We spent two weeks exploring the North and South Island, visiting Middle Earth (YAY!), staying with our grandad (our mother's dad), meeting up with my parents friends and pigging out each night.

So after visiting New Zealand, we made our way over to Sydney, my hometown/city. Highlight of trip: shopping at Chatswood. Seven levels of shopping goodness with bookstore! I got the first two volumes of Vampire Knight (the Australian version pwns the American in quality). We did see the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House and had fun at Luna Park (at least did each ride 5+ times!)

Currently, we are in Brisbane visiting my dad's family. Meeting up with cousins after four years is somewhat strange and uneasy (for me, at least) but after a few moments, it's totally fun!
